Erik Petersen, Editor

Erik Petersen was born and raised in Fort Lauderdale. A graduate of the University of Missouri School of Journalism, he began his journalism career at The Kansas City Star. He then spent 11 years in Britain at the Nottingham Post before returning to his hometown in 2014. He tries never to miss an ArtWalk, and you might also find him watching Panthers hockey or cricket in Lauderhill. His wife, Joanna, teaches high school English and his daughter, Anya, attends elementary school. Their pet pig, Penelope, gets into trouble in the backyard.
