
LOUIS VUITTON’S ART BASEL MIAMI BEACH EXHIBIT
Louis Vuitton’s Art Basel Miami Beach exhibit features a curated ensemble of works by some of the world’s most renowned artists. On view through December 3, the exhibit features two wax figures of Yayoi Kusama, created by the artist herself; a panda figure sculpture by Takashi Murakami on a vintage Louis Vuitton trunk; paintings by Richard Prince and Alex Katz; a photo by Jean Larivière; and the now iconic Artycapucines collection. As a celebration of the Maison’s long-standing relationship with Yayoi Kusama – and to mark the 10-year anniversary of their first collaboration – exclusive new pieces are also on view for the first time to serve as a teaser of the upcoming collaboration.

2022 MIAMI DESIGN DISTRICT DESIGN COMMISSION: ROCK | ROLL BY GERMANE BARNES
Germane Barnes, winner of the 2022 Miami Design District Annual Design Commission, unveiled his highly-anticipated installation, Rock | Roll. Drawing inspiration from the BIPOC communities who have shaped Miami’s polyethnic culture, Rock | Roll features a series of whimsical, seating capsules that rock back-and-forth when activated by users. Curated by Anava Projects, Rock | Roll will be placed across the Miami Design District’s public spaces, as well as at the entrance of Design Miami/.

CRAIG ROBINS COLLECTION “TWO OF THE SAME KIND” & JOINT OPENING RECEPTION FOR GAGOSIAN AND JEFFREY DEITCH’S “100 YEARS”
Miami Design District kicked off Miami Art Week with the official unveiling of the new Craig Robins Collection Two of the Same Kind and an opening reception for Gagosian and Jeffrey Deitch’s group exhibition 100 Years. Art aficionados, industry leaders, and notable guests like Pharell Williams, Christian Louboutin, Jackie Soffer, Harmony Korine, and Urs Fischer gathered in the Miami Design District’s Buick Building for the unique opportunity to preview both exhibitions. MARIO CARBONE’S OUR LADY OF ROCCO | POP-UP
During this year’s Art Basel in Miami, Mario Carbone is hosting a pop-up boutique for his brand Our Lady of Rocco (OLOR), the coveted clothing line inspired by the sartorial flair of 1980s New York City. The latest collection, OLOR Part II, consists of looks ranging from tracksuits, tees, and bomber jackets to handmade suits that can take you from the morning’s first espresso through dinner at CARBONE. In addition to the full collection, the Basel pop-up is the only place to find the one-of-a-kind vintage suits by the legendary Nino Cerruti, which were handpicked by Mario and reworked to include Rocco’s signature lining and brass buttons. Tailors will be on hand throughout this strictly limited engagement. The Our Lady of Rocco pop-up at ZZ’s Club runs now through December 3rd; doors open at noon on each day.
