  • Main Admin

Dance NOW! Miami and Portugal’s Dança em Diálogos collaborate on a joint performance April 2 at 8 PM at the Miami Theater Center, 9806 NE 2nd Avenue, Miami Shores.

Wishing you could easily visit Europe after two years of a public health crisis that has made travel difficult? Don’t miss a taste of Lisbon’s vibrant cultural scene with Dance NOW! Miami’s Program II, featuring special guests, Portugal’s Dança em Diálogos (DeD), in their Florida debut. The evening will feature new interpretation of “Anusim, What is Hidden is Never Lost,” choreographed and performed by both companies, as well as contemporary ballet works from DeD “Não Canteis A Valsa (Don’t Sing the Waltz),” a U.S. premiere, and the Florida premiere of “Prelude,” with live music from the South Beach Chamber Ensemble. Dance NOW! Miami has two of their own pieces on the program, the new work “E/Motion,” and the repertory “Grace.” Tickets are $45 general admission, $25 for Miami Shores Residents and $15 for students with ID. Tickets and full information at www.dancenowmiami.org/events/anusim. Face coverings will be required inside the theater at all times unless proof of full vaccination is provided.
