“Eat Your Heart Out” Culinary Soiree to Benefit Heart Gallery of Broward County

  • September 13, 2021
  • Main Admin

“Eat Your Heart Out,” Fort Lauderdale’s favorite food and “fun”raiser featuring gourmet creations, fresh libations, celebrity servers, entertainment and a silent auction returns to The Galleria at Fort Lauderdale on Thursday, October 7, from 6 – 8:30 p.m. This year’s highly anticipated event that benefits the Heart Gallery of Broward County, a respected nonprofit organization committed to finding loving families for the hardest to place foster children, will honor the Moss Foundation as Child Advocate of the Year 2021.

Arlene Borenstein of the South Florida SunSentinel’s “Let’s Go South Florida,” an arts, culture and culinary lovers feature series, will host this year’s social occasion which will feature an impressive roster of dining venues that will spice-up the event in support of Heart Gallery. Restaurants providing guests with a dazzling array of epicurean bites include Andy’s Live Fire Grill Bar, Anthony’s Runway 84, Boatyard, The Capital Grille, Cooper’s Hawk Restaurants & Winery, Culinary Republic, Dunkin’, Eddie V’s, Funky Buddha Brewery, Lips Fort Lauderdale, MOKSHA Indian Brasserie, Press & Grind Café, Riverside Market and Café, Seasons 52, Sicilian Oven, Tarpon River Brewing and Takato.

Moss Foundation will receive Heart Gallery’s Child Advocate of the Year award as dedicated to assisting other charitable organizations throughout the nation under the leadership of President Chad Moss. Created by Moss & Associates, a national privately held construction firm headquartered in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, the foundation prides itself in giving back to communities and enhancing surrounding areas. Moss Foundation has made an impact on local not for profit organizations such as Arc Broward, Broward Public Library Foundation, HANDY, Jack & Jill Children’s Center and others.

Heart Gallery of Broward County launched in 2007 as a traveling photography exhibit of foster children who were waiting to be permanently adopted and has evolved to work closely with ChildNet and local foster care providers to seek adoptive families and other connections for these children. Now in its 8th year, this event, the largest and most successful fundraiser that the organization hosts, benefits not only the children, family and partner organizations it serves, but the whole community.

Event sponsors include the Advanced Roofing, Band of Brothers – Christian Foundation, XOJET, Burdette Beckmann Inc., City & Shore magazine, The Galleria at Fort Lauderdale, GPR | Goodman Public Relations, Holland & Knight, Hudson Family Foundation, KO Lawyers, Lago Mar Beach Resort & Club, Leo Goodwin Foundation, Moss Foundation, OutClique magazine, Related Group, Shady Vodka, Toothaker.org and Walter Duke Partners.

Tickets are $150 per person and include complimentary valet parking. Tickets are available by visiting heartgalleryofbroward.org/products/eat-your-heart-out. For sponsor opportunities or more details, call (954) 918-3008.
