About Steven: Steven Lutz is an artist with 50 years of experience in all forms of art expression, including ceramics, photography, drawing, mosaics, and painting. His work has been exhibited in multiple galleries and shows, including over 30 large-scale mural installations all across pompano beach. Steven won the prestigious “Steve Eliot conceptual art award”, at the Rosemary Duffy Larson Gallery, for his work, “Red Warrior Love, Curious Trails”. Steven Lutz is a graduate of Monmouth University and Cornell University New York. He is currently studying ceramics at Broward College, and Computer Digital Imagery at Palm Beach State College. Some of his past exhibitions include 2005 Art Alliance, Res Bank, New Jersey, 2006 Jersey City Cultural Center, 2012 The Projects, Fat Village, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, 2013-14 The Rosemary Duffy Larson Gallery, Davie, Florida Winner of the “Steve Eliot Conceptual Art Award”, 2015-2017 Broward Gallery Hall Showcase series, 2017-Present: Public Art designer; Pompano Beach.

Steven name for this exhibit is “MICROBIOME”. His process for this exhibit was to look at a thing and then to go deeper inside and see what it is made up of, and then continue along that line of investigation, to go deeper and deeper still, past the molecular level, ultimately arriving at the micro-biologic level. On the entire planet earth, there are 8 billion people. And on each and every person, there are 40 trillion living organisms. These minuscule creatures make up our Human Microbiome. He invites those who are viewing his work to look deep into my paintings, as well as look deep inside of themselves, in search of what we are made of, and perhaps to learn from where we came.
