South Beach Wine & Food Festival (SOBEWFF) is one of THE MOST anticipated events of the year and the City of Hallandale Beach’s Community Redevelopment Agency has once again partnered with SOBEWFF to host the annual Hallandale Beach Event Series.
Jumpstarting the weekend, a special celebrity chef dinner hosted by Chefs Jernard Wells and Omar Martinez, will be held on Friday, February 24, 2023, at Icebox Cafe (219 NE 3rd St, Hallandale Beach, FL 33009) from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
The unforgettable culinary journey includes delectable dishes perfectly paired with an array of wines. Jernard Wells, an award-winning TV host and author of several cookbooks has appeared on “Food Network Star.” Executive Chef of IceBox Cafe Omar Martinez is a skilled culinary professional with over 22 years of experience in the kitchen and is recognized for his impressive knowledge of international cuisine. These two chefs will helm the kitchen at Icebox Cafe, the vibrant and contemporary hotspot in Hallandale Beach that highlights modern American cuisine with a global twist.
The mission of the Hallandale Beach CRA is to promote economic development and enhance the quality of life by eliminating and preventing blighted conditions through the facilitation of community partnerships, business growth, job creation, and neighborhood rehabilitation.
