Tail Waggin’ Terrace

  • June 27, 2022
  • FLMag Staff

Tail Waggin’ Terrace returns at Fort Lauderdale Beach’s premier pet-friendly destination The Westin Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort! Once again, the sunset Yappy Hour will take place on the Tequila Terrace at the resort’s restaurant Lona Cocina & Tequileria and will feature complimentary “canine cocktails” and signature adult libations, treats from Woof Gang Bakery, great photo ops and light bites.

The term downward facing dog will take on new meaning with two 30-minute “Doga” classes taking place during the event at 6:45PM and 7:30PM. Attendance in the class is limited to five dogs/owners per session and registration is free on a first come/first served basis.

Red Cheetah Yoga founder Nikki McGowan will lead the classes; guiding participants and their dogs through various poses designed to strengthen bonds, relieve stress and provide soothing energy. Participants will need to bring their own mats and its suggested they arrive a few minutes early to get themselves and their partners into the zone.
