The I Care I Cure Childhood Cancer Foundation hosted the 9th Annual I Care I Cure…I Run 5K & Family Fun Day and Mile Run of Color Fun at the BB&T Center. The event raised more than $150,000 in funds for cutting-edge research into treatments for childhood cancer. Around 1,500 runners and volunteers showed for the timed 5K, Mile Run of Color Fun and the Student and Team Challenge. The winners of the challenge were Central Park Elementary for the student division and Team Wolf and Pravato Law for the corporate team division.
