‘Unspoken Bond’ Documentary Screening

Unspoken Bond is a feature-length documentary exploring the profound relationship between humans and animals and the ways those connections shape healing, resilience, and emotional recovery. Created by Jackie Ducci and directed by Don Hardy, the film follows individuals whose lives have been transformed through their relationships with animals, including a combat veteran navigating post-traumatic stress with the support of a service dog, a trauma survivor building a sanctuary for rescued foxes, and an equestrian rebuilding her identity after the sudden loss of her Grand Prix horse. Through intimate storytelling, the film reveals the reciprocal nature of the human-animal bond and challenges audiences to reconsider the role animals play in human well-being, connection, and coexistence.
