Artist: The Valerie Tyson
At Soulful Sundays, stories don’t just speak—they sing!
This month, the rhythm of the written word meets the pulse of live music with a performance by the incomparable Valerie Tyson.
As a celebrated vocalist and dynamic performer, Valerie brings stories to life through song, weaving emotion, history, and soul into every lyric. Her voice—smooth, powerful, and soul-stirring—has earned her the title of “South Florida’s Queen of Soul”, and her performances are nothing short of impactful.
Valerie delivers a sound that’s as rich and layered as the most compelling novel. With a repertoire that spans R&B, soul, jazz, and funk, every note carries the depth of a lived experience and the joy of artistic expression.
Just like the artists we celebrate at Soulful Sundays, Valerie’s music speaks to the heart of the community, sharing stories that move, heal, and inspire. Join us for this beautiful harmony as she raids the repertoire of such R&B greats like Aretha Franklin and the one and only Gladys Knight”.
