Located in the vibrant hub of East Oakland Park, Atelier Newday is more than just an art studio — it’s a creative playground where you can unwind, make something meaningful and maybe even surprise yourself in the process. Whether you’re painting your first mug or your 50th, the vibe is all about playful expression and zero pressure.
Founded by artist and designer Damla Yenigun, who holds a Bachelor’s degree in Product /Industrial Design, the studio is a reflection of her lifelong passion for art and community. “We wanted to create a space where people of all ages could slow down, reconnect and express themselves through art,” says Yenigun. That spirit flows through everything they do.
Atelier Newday offers daily walk-in pottery painting — no reservation or experience required. Select your ceramic piece, choose your colors and let inspiration lead the way. For those looking to explore new techniques, the studio also hosts seasonal workshops, including candle painting, mirror art and calligraphy on various items, such as mugs and tote bags.

Want something more unusual? Their Turkish ceramic and Ebru marbling classes introduce traditional techniques that are both mesmerizing and meditative. Kids can get in on the fun too, thanks to regular after-school art programs and summer camps that blend storytelling, mixed media and hands-on creativity.
From birthday parties and bridal showers to corporate team-building sessions, Atelier Newday is a go-to for group events that are anything but ordinary.
Whether you walk out with a painted platter or a newfound creative spark, every day is a good day to make art at Atelier Newday.
