Look up, down and all around to fully appreciate the particulars of this sprawling Bay Colony property.

Deep in Bay Colony rests a magnificent 8,000-square-foot estate on an almost 16,000-square-foot lot. This grand property sits directly on the Intracoastal and features an incredible combined 240 feet of protected yacht dockage: 120 feet directly on the Intracoastal and 120 feet on a wide basin off the waterway. The home boasts five bedrooms, seven full bathrooms and two half bathrooms, all immaculately designed, from the exceptional woodwork gilding every space to the impeccably ornate detailing of the soaring ceilings.

Upon entering, guests see a grand foyer that opens up to a brilliant living room area where an imported, oversized Persian rug lies under a soaring wood-encased custom coffered tin-tile ceiling. Each ceiling tile was individually detailed and placed by an artist. The far end of the living room offers Intracoastal views through expansive two-story windows. A baby grand piano sits to the left in the great room, and to the right a fireplace encased by embossed wood detailing and tiling that reaches the crown wood molding of the ceiling. Collectible artwork from around the world adorns the walls and surfaces throughout the home.

Across from the living room and next to the foyer is an impressive formal dining room embellished with extravagant woodwork. Two wooden pillars mark the entrance of the room, and the formal dining table rests underneath a sectional crown tray ceiling and above another oversized Persian rug. Enhancing the room’s lavish ambiance are two five-arm candelabras on either side of a painting and a glass case displaying collectables.

Around the corner from the formal dining room is a great theater room with a cavernous sectional tray ceiling. Built-in cabinetry lines the space underneath the projector screen, which is surrounded by dense drapery to ensure a pitch-dark space for viewing films.

Further in sits a sprawling gourmet kitchen that opens to a massive family room. The kitchen boasts a two-layer reverse tray ceiling. Splashed in mosaic-style on the vertical spaces above the black kitchen countertops are vibrantly colored stone tiles imported from Switzerland.

Beyond the raised kitchen bar is an exquisite space: The family room is home to seven deep, crowned wooden tray-ceiling elements tucked high above yet another Persian rug that encompasses the entire room. A less-formal breakfast nook is nestled to the right, and hanging above a substantially sized round table is a stunning chandelier decked with pastel jewels and crystals. Four arching French double doors are dressed in kingly drapery and lead guests outside to the back patio.

Detailed stone pillars stand just outside of the French double doors, and azure blue stones line the Jerusalem-tile back patio. Spreading across the entire area and down to the 120-foot yacht docking space on the Intracoastal, the vast patio boasts four areas: A protective covering houses two sitting areas for guests to watch the boats and yachts glide by on the water. Next to the covering and centered in the outdoor area is a jet stream hot tub, adorned with fountain statues of women. In the third area sits an infinity pool clad in colorful tiling that matches that of the jet stream hot tub. Several large palms tower over guests as they step down onto the sprawling dock.

Back inside the gorgeous estate and up the steps of the staircase (lined with a modern black railing and covered in another imported Persian rug) is the home’s lounge area. Upstairs, guests can truly appreciate the intricate tin-tiles that make up the grand artistry of the ceiling while also appreciating a titanic, traditional crystal chandelier. The second-level lounge area leads to three oversized suites, each containing walk-in closets and private balconies.

Back down the elegant staircase on the right end of the home is the master wing. Particularly private for a downstairs spread, the master suite is complete with plush carpeting, sizable his-and-her bathrooms and individual walk-in closets. A rare, hand-painted armoire made specifically for the home and its current owner sits against the wall opposite the bed, and a separate space through an arched threshold along the same wall is home to top-of-the-line gym equipment. Traversing the hall just outside of the master bedroom leads guests to a master VIP suite, and a private office sits around the corner.

This opulent estate’s incredible direct Intracoastal views and perfectly manicured landscaping can be relished from almost every room in the house.
