Patio Party
Patio Bar & Pizza, 901 Progresso Dr., Unit 114, 954.740.6000, patiobarpizza.com
Don’t be fooled by the name – Patio Bar and Pizza brings more than just food and drinks. There’s a DJ that spins on the weekend and the 2,300 square-foot venue has an indoor space with lots of art. The New York-inspired bar features one-of-a-kind murals by Avi Ram and Mitrooper1 – to name a few. In addition, the 2,500 square-foot outdoor area includes another bar, fire pit and lounge-like seating. As for the pizza, they offer updated classics like Spicy Hawaiian and Artichoke, Soppressata and Peppers pies. However, cocktails like the Filthy Flamingo and Death by Coconut may be what you really came for.

You decide. And if you say both, we wouldn’t blame you.
That Ol’ Razzle Dazzle
Razzleberry’s Homemade Ice Cream, 901 NE 20th Ave., 954.440.3337, razzleberrysicecream.com
This shop has been a Pompano Beach staple since 1991. They’ve recently expanded into Fort Lauderdale and boy, are we happy about that. They make all their own ice cream, and the shop is adorable; the exterior looks like a giant dessert with artwork inspired by an ice cream cone with strawberry ice cream and sprinkles. Trust us, you can’t miss it. Flavors include cherry vanilla, Twix and, because kids shouldn’t have all the fun in an ice cream parlor, alcohol-infused sweets like cake batter tequila.
