Company: Allied Kitchen and Bath
Designer: Rob Feinberg, Certified Kitchen Designer
Hues of blues, accents of wood and an overflow of class are the result of a recently reimagined kitchen by Rob Feinberg of Allied Kitchen and Bath.
That’s also what made this project different from others he’s worked on in the past. “Our client loves blues. We incorporated the blue in her cabinetry as an accent area. The island top was an imported custom agate top that the client saw as she was traveling and we were able to customize and use it,” says the certified kitchen designer. “The custom seating area was designed to blend with the kitchen and allow for easy access with the curves of the table.”
The process goes beyond meeting with the client and giving them a tour of the showroom (with samples of materials, cabinetry, marbles, quartz, etc.). It’s about working one-on-one with the client and getting to know their vision and taste. “The beauty about Allied Kitchen and Bath is we are there throughout the whole process. Our promise is to make sure we do our very best to create a beautiful project.”
And, of course, finally bringing the client’s ideal kitchen to life is Feinberg’s favorite part. “Ultimately, seeing the final product and that the clients are thrilled with their new spaces is our goal.” (alliedkitchenandbath.com)
Company: Premium Kitchens
Designer: Coralie Halfon
To owner and interior designer of Premium Kitchens Coralie Halfon, each project is about telling a story.
“Design, functionality, emotion.” Those are the words used by the French designer to describe the inspiration behind the “contemporary but still very homey” kitchen she designed recently.
“Regardless of where they’re from, customers everywhere are the same when we work on a kitchen since it’s really the most important room in the house or condo. They are always very emotionally involved.”
To bring her client’s vision to life, she used unique materials new to the American market, like olive wood. “The upper cabinets, featured in ‘Olivo Opaco,’ bring a warm, elegant and organic atmosphere to the room. This deluxe wood offers a signature book-matching grain that is unique. The sand lacquer cabinets, featured in Slate, emphasize the dramatic, large-format porcelain “Calacatta Lux” counters and backsplash from Neolith. Gold and black further accent the accessories. And an exciting, new fully integrated appliances garage is hidden in the corner.”
Halfon has been an interior designer for many years and had her own showroom on the French Riviera for eight years before moving to Fort Lauderdale. Chasing after the American dream, her husband Philippe sold his wine business in France to create this unique opportunity and – to say the least – it was well worth it. “It’s not only a job, it’s really a new life that began for our family,” she proudly shares. In fact, all the artistic flair found in their showroom comes directly from him,” his wife says. “I feel so blessed that people like the showroom so much and that they trusted us right away.” (premiumkitchens.com)
