1. Captain America Kid’s Drink
Ingredients
- Ice
- 1 can of Cherry 7-Up
- 1 oz. of Grenadine
- ¼ of Non-alcoholic Pina Colada Mix
- 1 cup of blue drink (Gatorade, Kool-Aid, Hawaiin Punch)
Method
First fill the cup with ice. Then start by adding Cherry 7-Up and Grenadine until the cup is 1/3 of the way full. Next pour the Pina Colada Mix 1/3 of the cup. Lastly, put in the blue drink of your choice. Do not mix. You can either stop there or add cherries and a Stars and Stripes straw for a more festive look.
2. Red, White & Boozy Margaritas
Ingredients
- Ice
- Silver Tequila
- Triple Sec
- Grenadine
- Blue Curaçao
- Lime Juice
Method
Blend 3 cups of ice, 2 oz. of Silver Tequila, 1 oz. of Triple Sec, and 2 oz. of Grenadine and split it evenly between 2 glasses. Follow the same steps for the blue layer but substitute the Grenadine for 2 oz. of Blue Curaçao. Use 2 oz. of Lime Juice instead of grenadine for the last layer.
3. Blueberry Salute
Ingredients
- 1 ½ oz Of IZZEE Sparkling Juice Blueberry
- ¾ oz of Coconut Milk
- ½ oz of Blueberry Schnapps
- 1 oz of Rye Whiskey
- Fresh Blueberries
Method
Add Coconut Milk, Blueberry Schnapps, and Rye Whiskey into a shaker. Shake contents then strain into a glass of ice. Top of with the IZEE Sparkling Juice and garnish with blueberries.
4. Triple Berry Angel Food Cake Roll
Ingredients
- Angel Food Cake Mix
- Powdered Sugar
- Cream Cheese
- Vanilla
- Heavy Cream
- Fresh Strawberries, blueberries, and Raspberries
Method
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Put parchment paper on an ungreased 10” X 15” X 1” baking sheet. Follow package directions to prepare Angel Cake mix. Pour the mix into the pan and bake for 20 minutes in the oven. After removing the cake from oven separate the edges of the cake from the pan while it’s still warm. Lay down a clean kitchen towel and evenly sprinkle powdered sugar on it. Flip the cake onto the towel, peel off the parchment paper and roll it up. While the cake is cooling, add cream cheese into a large bowl and beat it using an electrical mixer until it’s smooth. Add powdered sugar, vanilla, and heavy cream into the bowl and continue to mix. Once cooled, unroll the cake and add half of the filling on top. Then add half of the berries. Roll the cake back up, cover it with the rest of the filling, and top it off with the remaining berries.
5. No Bake Berry Shortcake Trifle
Ingredients
- 2 cups of cold Heavy Whipping Cream
- ¼ cup of Powdered Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 12 oz. Pack of King Hawaiian Original Sweet Rolls
- 1-2 oz. Of Amaretto
- 1 ½ lbs of fresh Strawberries sliced in half
- ¾ lbs of fresh Blueberries
Method
Beat the heavy whipping cream on high speed while adding vanilla extract and powdered sugar. Slice each Hawaiian roll into 8 pieces. Place half of the pieces into the bottom of a medium sized trifle dish. Brush the bread with Amaretto, then ¼ of the whipped cream onto the bread and top it off with ¾ of the strawberries. Repeat the last step but use blueberries instead of strawberries. Add the rest of the whipping cream on top and garnish with the rest of the berries. Make sure to chill the dessert for at least an hour before serving.
6. Patriotic Funfetti Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 stick Unsalted Butter, softened
- ¾ cup Sugar
- 1 Large Egg, room temperature
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 1 ½ cups All-purpose Flour
- ¼ teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
- ½ Baking Soda
- 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
- ½ cup Red, White, Blue Sprinkles
Method
In a large bowl, mix the butter until it’s creamy. Add the sugar and beat until the mixture is fluffy. Then mix in the egg and the vanilla. Grab a medium bowl and whisk together the flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda, and cream of tartar. Slowly add the contents of the medium bowl into the large bowl and blend together. Once combined, add in the sprinkles. Roll the dough into balls by scooping 2 tablespoons of dough per ball. Add more sprinkles on top of each ball. Chill the dough on a cookie sheet for at least 2 hours. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line the baking sheets with parchment paper. Bake the cookies for 8 minutes, then let them cool for 3 minutes before indulging.
