The Bar: Gingers Bar and Restaurant
The Mixologist: Willow Sage Lovell
The Drink: Gingerbread Rum Old Fashioned
- 2 oz Gingerbread Captain Morgan
- 5 oz organic coconut sugar simple syrup (it’s like a toffee-tasting simple syrup)
- 2 dashes of Hella’s aromatic bitters
- Stir and serve over ice with a cinnamon stick garnish.
Willow says: It embodies the taste of a winter Florida will never have. It has a very nostalgic taste though, for sure – like biting into a gingerbread man you find the day after Christmas.
The Bar: No Man’s Land
The Mixologist: Chevy Farrell
The Drink: PSL
- 2 oz vodka of choice
- 1 oz espresso
- 1 oz simple syrup
- Top with pumpkin-spiced whipped cream.
- Dust with nutmeg.
- Serve in coupe or martini glass.
Chevy says: Honestly, this cocktail originated as a spoof of an espresso martini. We were deep into the creative process of developing our cocktail list when (No Man’s Land owner) Memphis (Garrett) mentioned an espresso martini. I laughed and wrote down the first thing that popped into my mind, the PSL. When we started actually tasting our new drinks, we quickly realized that this one was going to be a banger.
