As soon as you walk through the door, a spacious and inviting living area greets you beyond the wide foyer. One of the first features you’ll notice is the endless views of the Intracoastal – more about that later.
The new-construction home features five bedrooms (two masters), five full baths, two half baths, a media room/loft, a gorgeous fireplace, luxurious designer-chosen finishes and a unique wine wall, all housed within 6,000 square feet. The residence is in a perfect location nestled between the beach (two blocks away) and the Intracoastal Waterway, and is close to Coral Ridge Country Club.
The inviting living area is adorned with a statement-making fireplace built from stone that runs from the floor to the ceiling. This space was created with comfort in mind, making it livable and warm. Designer Keila Castro of JBM achieved this effect by incorporating such elements as wood features, textures, imported porcelain tiles and warm lighting.
To enhance the inviting feel, Castro designed each room to spill into the next. From the living room, you’ll move into the chef’s kitchen. Decked out in Wolf and SubZero appliances, this room takes functionality and design to the next level. What is often a space secluded from guests was transformed by Castro into an area where those in the kitchen can still be part of the fun and enjoy the views. Not only that, the heart of the home and dining area have direct access to the outdoor space and spectacular views.
The real showstopper is the one-of-a-kind wine wall sitting next to the dining room with access from the kitchen. The most notable feature is the floating shelves with clear lucite pegs that make the bottles appear as if they are floating. In addition, the backlit wall provides a romantic vibe for the evenings. As a bonus, you can easily see the label on each bottle.
Heading up to the second level, an entertainment space that can be considered a loft area features a wet bar and access to a spacious terrace suitable for lounging.
The right wing of the home belongs to the master suite. This room wouldn’t be complete without the striking views of the Intracoastal from the bed. The ceiling features subtle lighting with natural light peeking through the skylights just below. If you want some fresh air, the balcony will be your spot.
Just beyond the main area of the master, you’ll find a walk-in closet reminiscent of a high-end clothing boutique showcasing items while hidden storage allows for a clean look. The lighting and carpentry elevate the style.
The master bath looks like it came straight from a five-star resort. Comfort and style are key here and there are dual everything – sinks (opposite sides of the room), toilets and rain shower heads. The floating tub provides an upscale look while woods, stones and LED lighting produce a calming, Zen-like effect.
The true star of the home is the waterway and sunset views. Step outdoors through the pocket floor-to-ceiling glass sliding doors to experience them firsthand. With 70 feet of water frontage, the home sits where two canals meet – guaranteeing endless views of water straight ahead, a feature unique to the property.
There are several ways to enjoy this view from the backyard. For example, take a dip in the pool or spa that is level with the ground and features mosaic tiles. There are also two lounging areas perfect for entertaining – one next to the outdoor kitchen complete with stove and the other next to a firepit-ready space. Lastly, a new concrete dock was created with lounging space so you can get up close and personal with the water. The outdoor space is complete with railing specifically designed not to obstruct views while providing safety.
