Redlining: An Art Engagement Dialogue

February 5, 2024 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Free

Introducing the newest Art Gallery on display at the Miramar Cultural Center: “Redlining”
In honor of Black History Month, explore Black artistic expression within the context of the past (and sometimes current) discriminatory practice of Redlining – a practice that consists of the systematic denial of services such as mortgages, insurance loans, and other financial services to residents of certain areas, based on their race or ethnicity.
You’re invited! Dive deeper into the true meaning behind the Redlining Art Exhibit on February 5th at “Redlining: An Art Engagement Dialogue.” A reception featuring a talkback with the artist, curator, & our partnering organizations. Enjoy free refreshments on this artistic and informative night.
