Still We Rise Exhibition
On view at The ARC from June 13 through August 30, 2025
Still We Rise invites viewers to explore the rich tapestry of Addonis’ work which confronts social injustice and celebrates Black culture. His art encompasses a diverse range of mediums, styles, and themes while reminding us that art is not only a form of expression but also a tool for change, a means of preserving memory, and a source of hope.
Experience the breadth and depth of Parker’s artistic range whose pieces speak to both personal and collective memory—transforming pain into beauty, silence into voice, and oppression into liberation. Parker’s practice is rooted in the belief that art is not only a form of self-expression, but a tool for social change.
A dynamic series of public programs—including panel discussions, musical performances, and spoken word events—will accompany the exhibition to further contextualize Parker’s work and amplify the historical narratives embedded within it.
