A Month Made for Celebrating

Publisher’s Letter: February 2026

February, for me, is layered. Celebration, creativity, community and a dinner worth circling on the calendar.

February has always meant more to me than one red-heart day on the calendar. It’s my marriage’s anniversary month, which makes everything feel a little more reflective. Not flashy love, but the steady kind. The kind built over time, through shared meals, shared risks and choosing to show up when it matters. That mindset shaped this entire issue.

Let’s talk about the night I genuinely do not want you to miss. This month’s DINE Fort Lauderdale takes place on Feb. 26 at The Capital Grille, and this one feels especially good. Five courses, thoughtfully paired wines and a room full of people who appreciate an evening done right. It’s an ideal Valentine’s plan, an anniversary celebration or the easiest gift you can give someone who already has everything. Tickets are limited, and these dinners have a way of filling up fast—and once you’ve experienced one, you understand why.

What makes these dinners even more meaningful is how they connect across the pages of the magazine. Birds of Paradise wines, featured in our fashion story, will be poured at every DINE Fort Lauderdale dinner this season. When worlds overlap like that (food, style, storytelling) it feels intentional. The details matter.

This is also our Business Issue, and at its center is a story that started right here at home. Our feature on Inspiration Co. traces a simple idea born on a bench at Holiday Park and follows it all the way to global impact. It’s proof that meaningful businesses don’t always begin in boardrooms. Sometimes they start with purpose and heart. Watching a local concept grow into an enterprise that reaches millions is exactly the kind of success story worth celebrating.

February reminds me that everything connects. Food brings people together. Style reflects expression. Business shows belief. Love shows up in how we treat one another, far beyond romance. I hope this issue inspires you to support local ideas, celebrate the people you care about and say yes to experiences that stay with you.
