With decades of multiple Grammys and over 100 million recordings, Sting brought both nostalgia and vitality to a sold-out audience at the Hard Rock Live at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on May 6. He delivered a polished set that showcased his talent and connection with the audience.
The energy inside the venue was already electric before a single song played, and the performance reminded the audience why music still matters.
Sting set the tone for the evening, opening with “Message in a Bottle.” He led with songs from The Police as the evening was highlighted by a rich selection of classics from his early years. He performed with a tight three-piece lineup featuring top-notch base guitarist Dom Miller and high-energy drummer Chris Mass.
His connection with the audience was evident from the beginning. Sting delivered intensity while maintaining warmth and gentleness, and his rasp added texture and depth.
He moved so effortlessly through a wide range of emotions, ending with “Roxanne”, fully energized and sending the crowd home on a high note.
