A glimpse at the city’s top creative chefs who will showcase their talents during the annual DINE Fort Lauderdale 5‑course wine‑pairing dinner series that begins next month.

March 14 – The Capital Grille

The Chefs: Chef Michael Barone & Pastry Chef Annabelle Asher-Solly
At The Capital Grille, guests get a two-for-one special when it comes to chef power in the kitchen. Chef Asher-Solly specializes in pastries and desserts — you may recognize her from the Spring Baking Championship on the Food Network. As for Chef Barone, he has been cooking for over 30 years and has worked with the restaurant for 13, including at its Naples and Palm Beach Gardens locations.

March 21 – Truluck’s

The Chef: Chef Partner Odel Arencibia
Cuban-born chef and world traveler Odel Arencibia’s impressive upscale restaurant experience and education eventually landed him a job at Truluck’s — and lucky for us, we can enjoy his dishes firsthand.

April 4 – Morton’s The Steakhouse

The Chef: Chef Tony Gaspar
The executive chef of Morton’s has been with the company for over 15 years. While he can sear a steak to perfection and make sure your soufflé is perfectly puffed, he enjoys creating comfort dishes.

April 11 – Timpano

The Chef: Chef Omar Lorenzana
From Manhattan to Fort Lauderdale, Chef Lorenzana has brought his talents and 18+ years of experience to our dining scene with great success. His background ranges from cooking traditional meals with his grandmother in Puerto Rico to working at five-star hotels where he mastered French-Japanese fusion cuisine and classical French culinary skills.

May 23 – Shooters Waterfront/Grateful Palate Catering & Events

The Chef: Chef Monica Palacio
Pastry chef extraordinaire Chef Palacio bakes sweet treats that always leave guests wanting more. From a red velvet cream cheese cake to the strawberry napoleon (white chocolate mascarpone and vanilla chantilly cream between puff pastry topped with strawberry) that will be featured at the Fusion dinner, her creative desserts set her apart.

Our Ultimate Wine Pairing Experience.
5 Chefs, 5 Courses, 5 Wine Pairings. The series culminates in this “Fusion Experience” event where all DINE Fort Lauderdale partners come together for one evening showcasing a treasure trove of culinary delights. The event will feature an auction to benefit the Emeril Lagasse Foundation.
