Camp STEAMology: Peacemakers at Museum of Discovery and Science

$10 – $70Everyone deserves access to clean water. Join “MODS: Peacemakers” in the survey lab to design and test water quality just as engineering peacemakers do. Learn how to test water quality in a survey lab. Using the scientific process, experiment and construct the optimal water filter. Discover how we can help ensure all people have access to safe drinking water.
South Florida’s award-winning attraction featuring 150,000 square feet of dynamic science exhibits, an outdoor science park, a live animal collection, a rotating schedule of science shows, learning labs, café, store and a grand atrium featuring the Great Gravity Clock, a 52-foot-tall kinetic energy sculpture; the largest clock in Florida. The showpiece of the museum since 1993, this unique timepiece is one of only three in the world.
Children can also visit MODS’ traveling exhibit “Thomas & Friends™: Explore the Rails!” Rail. The exhibit was created by the Minnesota Children’s Museum in partnership with Mattel, Inc. and is nationally presented by Fisher-Price.
