Destination Juneteenth A Boots on the Ground Celebration Day of Freedom

he African American Research Library and Cultural Center is preparing for a meaningful Juneteenth ceremony to honor the emancipation of enslaved African Americans. Travel the African-American journey to freedom through an enriching cultural experience of lively music, southern food, dancing, story-telling, poetry and celebration of the past and future. Attendees can look forward to engaging discussions about the ongoing fight for justice and equality with MC Traci Cloyd. The ceremony will be held on Friday, June 20, 2025 at 6 p.m. at the African American Research Library and Cultural Center (AARLCC) will be a moving tribute to freedom, unity, and the continued pursuit of liberation for all.

The evening will include light refreshments, drinks and a special tribute to Black Cowboys by South Florida Cowboy, Travis T-Dogg Gammage.
