Rod MacDonald, named “Best Local Acoustic Artist” and one of “Ten Greatest South Florida Folksingers Of All Time” (New Times) and one of “Ten Magnificent Musicians Of Palm Beach County” by The Palm Breach Post, beings his newest album “Rants And Romance,” which hit #5 on the national Folk/Acoustic charts in summer 2023, along with his renowned songs “American Jerusalem,” “Every Living Thing” and “White Buffalo” to Emerald Concerts, south Florida’s premiere folk concert venue. And if you’ve ever heard the ubiquitous “A Sailor’s Prayer (I Will Not Lie Me Down)” at the Rennaissance Festival, this is the composer who wrote it.
