Meals on Wheels South Florida’s 2024 Thanksgiving Event

Thanks to the generosity of community volunteers and supporters , Meals on Wheels South Florida and their dedicated team of volunteers will deliver nearly 200 hot Thanksgiving meals to home-bound seniors on Thursday, November 28, 2024. Who: Meals on Wheels South Florida staff and volunteers visit clients on Thanksgiving morning and present them with a hot turkey meal with all the trimmings, homemade placemats, and a friendly holiday hello.

What: These meals are delivered to Meals on Wheels South Florida’s senior clients who are home-bound and without family to visit them for Thanksgiving. The meal box includes roasted turkey, stuffing, seasonal vegetables, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, rolls, and pumpkin pie.
