FESTIVAL SCHEDULE
Friday June 27 (Opening Day)
– 4:00 PM – Festival Kickoff & Opening Party: Uspside Rooftop with live DJ and welcome cocktails by Mezcal Doña Vega.
– 6:00 PM – Mexican Art Show: Browse and purchase art by Mexican-born artists (Marcela Ramos Castillo, Alejandra Palacios, and Monica Czukerberg).
– 8:00 PM – Fundraising Pairing Dinner: Indulge in a five-course meal with each course prepared by Chef Gustavo Romero and Chef Dan Wood, paired with exceptional mezcal expressions (ticketed event).
– 10:00 PM – Mezcalista Experience: Enjoy a curated evening at mezcalista with special bottle service.
Saturday June 28 (Tasting Day)
– 12:00 PM – Grand Tasting: Multiple brands showcasing their best expressions with tacos, and oysters (while supplies last)
– 2:00 PM – Mixology Masterclass with Acronimo Spirits: Learn the art of crafting mezcal cocktails with expert bartenders.
– Performance by Mariachi Voces de America
– 6:00 PM – Mezcal Pairing dinner by Chef Dan Wood and Ilegal Mezcal
– 8:00 PM – VIP Tasting: Exclusive sampling with Mezcal Social Club (ticketed event).
– 10:00pm After party at Mezcalista
Sunday June 29 (Cultural Day)
– 11:00 AM – Mezcal Brunch: Unforgettable Mezcal Brunch, where you can sample hand-crafted mezcal cocktails, partake in the Mezcal Bloody Mary bar, bottomless featured mezcal cocktail and Mexican brunch classics. Ticket includes tax & gratuity.
– 11:00 AM – Mexican Craft Bazaar featuring mexican artisan crafts and products with Taco, Churros and Fruit Cup stations.
– 12:00 PM – Pool Party with Ilegal Mezcal
– 2:00 PM – Mixology Masterclass with Xicala Mezcal: Learn the art of crafting mezcal cocktails with expert bartenders.
– 6:00 PM – Sustainability in Agave Panel: A panel of Brand leaders including Lou Bank,(SACRED AGave), Evan Meeker (Del Maguey Single Vilage Mezcal), Daniel Zaviela (Matasnta Mezcal), and Allessandra Camino (Acronimo Spirits) featuring discussions on sustainable practices in the agave industry.
– 4:30 PM – Mezcal & Chocolate Pairing with Lou Bank: A delectable pairing experience featuring five spirits made by Ildefonso Macedas Ginez in San Luis Atolotitlan, Puebla, using five different agave paired with Mexican chocolate.
– 8:00 PM – Bar Takeover with Sabina Sabe (listed among the worlds 50 best bars list): Experience an unforgettable night as Sabina Sabe – one of the world’s most renowned mezcal bars takes over Mezcalistas for a one-of-a-kind bar takeover!
Monday June 30 (Closing Day)
– 7:00 PM – Bartender Battle & Closing Party: Celebrate the festival finale with a DJ, dancing, and the excitement of the final bartender showdown. Judges include Bryan Tate (Beverage Operations Manager for Marriott International), Anthony Bohlinger (James Beard Award winner), Ben Potts (Founder of Unfiltered Hospitality)
