The Wild Side

The Wilder, 701 E Broward Blvd., 954.918.7212, intothewilder.com
Step into the wild side through global fare and handcrafted libations at The Wilder. Try the Lolita if you’re feeling adventurous (Santa Teresa 1796 rum, St. James rhum agricole, chinola passionfruit liqueur, vanille de madagascar, almond orgeat and lime) or the Pistache, Yo! if you’re in the mood to spice it up (Herradura Silver Tequila, Del Maguey Vida Mezcal, pistachio orgeat, pineapple, orange bitters and ancho chili rim).

The Land of Libations

No Man’s Land, 666 N Federal Hwy., 954.368.2616, nomanslandftl.com
Velvet seats, marble tabletops and gold accents? When you walk into No Man’s Land, you’re walking into an Instagram-worthy photo-op. The 40-seat lounge and restaurant is one of the latest ventures by local restaurateur and former Big Brother star Memphis Garrett and his hospitality group, who are known for their trendy spots around South Florida. Well-known locals in the food and drink industry Chevy Farrell and Austin Blake (whose resume includes The Dalmar) created the menu. Notable cocktails include the Hemingway Spritz (grapefruit vodka, Aperol, grapefruit cordial, black salt, sparkling wine and grapefruit crescent).

Neat and Tidy

Whiskey Neat, 1035 SE 17th St., 954.524.6163, whiskeyneatbar.com
If you love whiskey, you’ll find this place, um, neat. Featuring one of the largest selections of whiskey in South Florida, Whiskey Neat serves up classic cocktails and live music in their cocktail lounge. You can choose to sit inside at the 17-foot illuminated bar wall or on the outdoor patio. You can select from over 200 rare whiskeys and have them neat or you can pick from their cocktail menu. Plus, if you’re hungry you can order food from the Quarterdeck next door.
