Viva La Vida

Pura Vida, 221 SW 1st Ave., puravidamiami.com
After success with a handful of Miami-Dade locations, Fort Lauderdale natives and husband-and-wife duo Omer and Jennifer Horev have finally opened a Pura Vida in their hometown. The healthy café boasts 4,442 square feet of outdoor dining space and is located at the Society Las Olas. The all-day breakfast features almond berry toast and perfect egg sandwich, while the wraps and sandwiches section includes a pesto tuna wrap and kale chicken Caesar wrap.

Boba-stic

Softea Dessert Bar, 908 N Flagler Dr., 954.533.8784, softeadessert.com
Inspired by Asian desserts and made entirely from scratch, this sweet shop is making waves in Flagler Village. They have soft serve ice cream (matcha, Thai tea, chocolate and more), milkshakes and all kinds of boba teas. You can build your own softea or try one of their signature items like the It’s A Par-Tea (Thai milk tea, Earl Grey soft serve, biscoff cookie and tapioca flavored boba).

Progresso Al Fresco

Sidewalk Bottle Shop, 901 Progresso Dr., 954.243.9724, sidewalkbottleshop.com
A wine shop with a food truck attached to it? Don’t mind if we do. Let’s start off with the wine – they have a diverse selection including Maria and Sepp Muster – Graf Sweigelt and Sarnin-Berrux Saignee. As for the food, they serve everything from fried cauliflower dressed with a lemon caper vinaigrette finished with ricotta salata and lemon zest to their Kimchi Burger, a double patty smash style burger topped with kimchi, American cheese and their secret “pug sauce”. (No pugs were harmed in the making of it.)
