One Tequila, Two Tequila, Three Tequila, FLOOR

Lona Cocina & Tequileria, Westin Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort, 954.245.3069, westinftlauderdalebeach.com
This upscale casual eatery headed by chef Pablo Salas offers an eclectic, soulful menu that can be enjoyed outdoors with oceanfront views or indoors in an elegant dining room served in an a la carte manner. Located inside the Westin Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort, the chic restaurant also features an outdoor bar and a special tequila tasting room.

Toast for the Good Times

Toast, 3020 N Federal Hwy., #1, 954.533.7346, toastlauderdale.com
As displayed on their wall, “toast” is a homonym that serves well for this new cozy diner. Sliced bread browned on both sides by radiant heat? They’ve got that along with delicious ways to have your bread. Call to a gathering of people to raise their glasses and drink together? Their wide selection of wines, option for bottomless mimosas and friendly environment will take care of that for you. Their Greek-inspired menu offers traditional dishes as well as modernized classics.

The Kids Are All Right

Ki’Na, 420 N Federal Hwy., 954.900.3107, kinafll.com
Ki’Na – it means “little kids” in Taiwanese – takes its name from memories inspired by Chinese cuisine. The restaurant may be new, but its owners have a well-established reputation. It’s owned and operated by the same family behind Christina Wan’s Mandarin House. Ingredients are sourced from non-GMO, hormone- and antibiotic-free products, and they keep it as local as possible. Because of this, Ki’Na features a rotating menu based on the season. However, the menu always includes traditional Chinese staples such as noodles and rice bowls.
