Summer Forever

Quarterdeck Restaurants, 1035 SE 17th St & 2933 E Las Olas Blvd, 954.525.2010, quarterdeckrestaurants.com
Having been voted Best Kids Menu, Quarterdeck has now added a new Chicago-style hot dog to further provide even more options for everyone – big and small. The new menu item is made up of an all-beef hot dog on a poppy seed bun topped with mustard, relish, chopped onion, tomato slices, a pickle spear, sport peppers and celery salt. As part of their Endless Summer menu, these specials are offered every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. Other specials include lobster rolls, blackened salmon filet and sesame tuna wraps.

Tequila & Taco Jungle

Baresco, 225 N Pompano Beach Blvd, Pompano Beach, 954.904.4567, eatbaresco.com
This new taqueria and bar is located right before the Fisher Family Pier heading north on Pompano Beach Boulevard. The Mexican-inspired restaurant is known for its craft cocktails, unique margaritas and tasty authentic tacos. Discover this tropical outpost that is a great combination of beautiful outdoor dining and wooden, jungle-style indoor logging. Featuring an indoor and outdoor bar, this restaurant serves amazing drinks like the Mango Tango margarita and frozen Mexican Cafe cocktail. Try their Barbacoa tacos and carnitas flatbread. Having recently opened, Baresco has already turned into a Pompano Beach staple.

Stylish, Savory & Saporific

Miso Japanese Tapas, 815 NE Second Ave, Ste 400, 954.530.3351, misojt.com
Words can’t describe how cool this restaurant located near Progresso Drive looks from the streets. But we like to judge what’s on the inside when it comes to food. This new hidden gem has amazing bao buns, crispy rice toro, authentic ramen and an incredible list of traditional sushi to try. The owner and chef, Thuan Lam, has previous experience in the restaurant industry with Poke Lolo, formerly at the Hive in Fort Lauderdale. This creative chef’s mark on Japanese cuisine is only beginning and is something everyone can experience at MISO Japanese Tapas.
