The festive season is back in Fort Lauderdale! All our favorite holiday shows, sights and get-togethers return this month – and Fort Lauderdale Magazine has the full rundown.

Wonderland

The beachside park is transformed into a sub-tropical holiday town with different themed events including The Grinch Who Rocked Christmas (December 2 through 5), Nutcracker & Sweets (December 9 through 12) and Let’s Jingle and Flamingle (December 16 through 19.) There will be children’s activities, live music and dance, games and contests, strolling characters and holiday markets. There’s also a toy drive December 16 through 19.

The Seminole Hard Rock Winterfest Boat Parade

The granddaddy of Fort Lauderdale holiday events is back for a 50th year. Running from the Stranahan House in downtown to Lake Santa Barbara in Pompano Beach, the parade will feature everything from mega-yachts to family boats, all decked out for the season. There’s also a downtown pre-show featuring non-motorized vessels at 6pm.
