Dried rose petal, violets, raspberry, cherry, clove, black tea and slate make up the enticing aromas of this red wine. It is cold soaked for 48 hours with daily pump-overs, fermented in a stainless steel open top tank with twice-daily punch-downs and then aged for 18 months in 30% new French oak.

A notable blend of fresh red fruit flavors (raspberry and ripe strawberry) plus Oregon essences of mushroom, forest floor and earth. It is aged in French oak making it rich and well-built with oak and vanilla nuances.

The glistening pale straw color wine has a bouquet made up of white peach, lychee, lemon zest and a core of damp slate. This is complemented by the taste of crisp and vibrant due to the ripe guava, stone fruit and honey dew flavors, enclosed by citrus zest and wet concrete.

Tasting notes:
Aromas include Bartlett pear, Mandarin orange and lime zest with hints of wet rock and wildflowers. Structured by damp slate and quince, a white peach, a tangerine peel, a Meyer lemon and a fresh pear make up the flavors of the wine.
