Spa at the Oasis

  • December 31, 2019
  • Gisel Habibnejad
A spa day is much needed, especially to start the New Year off right. Sit back and relax at one of these luxurious local spa facilities.

AWAY Spa at the W Fort Lauderdale

401 N Fort Lauderdale Beach Blvd., Fort Lauderdale

AWAY Spa at the W Fort Lauderdale features full-service body and beauty treatments while setting the scene for a unique spa experience. The recently renovated space, makes you feel as if you stepped into a Pop Art gallery while getting pampered. This spa features amenities and treatments to help guests detox and relax with a comprehensive new menu, refreshed space and lineup of beauty products from Comfort Zone.

Upon your arrival to the spa, located on the fourth floor of the beachfront hotel, you’re immediately greeted with a complimentary Bright Elixir shot made of healthy ingredients to cleanse and energize. It truly sets the tone of the relaxing journey you are about to embark on.

The spa menu is divided into five major categories: Quick Fix for tune-ups; Detox to cleanse from the inside out; Massage treatments to de-stress, go deep and nurture the skin; Face options to lift, firm and revive; and Body to buff, polish and glow from the outside in. They also offer men’s services.

While all W Hotels feature these one-of-a-kind spas, the Fort Lauderdale location is the first to include a Glam Station. This station is completely dedicated to face and makeup, such as the Beauty Boost (a facial with vitamin boosters), Bright Eyes (revitalize for dark circles, puffiness and fine lines), Make-Up Dusting (touch-up for makeup) and Full Make-Up.

Spa at the Auberge

2200 N Ocean Blvd., Fort Lauderdale

The Spa at the Auberge takes elements from its surroundings (sand and beach) and injects them into the spa treatments offered here. This spa at the new residences features indigenous ingredients, tropical elements and results-driven rituals that come together alongside beach views.

In treatments like the Restore and Balance Massage, earthly elements such as bergamot, juniper and sage and warm herbal compresses are used with warm and cool stones, all cocooned in a warm sand bed of quartz.

Other treatments such as the Auberge Heaven and Earth Body Treatment and the Best of Auberge Facial will help you get in touch with your nature side without stepping one foot outdoors.

This spa’s most remarkable feature is its signature self-guided Vitality Ritual circuit. The circuit begins with a session in the Sound Meditation Lounge where your mind slips into a deep meditative state through music and sounds before stepping into phase two – the Salt Cave. Next, the Infrared Sauna is made up of panels of far infrared for ultimate detoxification. Lastly, indulge yourself in the Hot Steam Room followed by the Cool Deluge Shower.

You can even take the spa home with you. Some of their spa products, like Babor, Eminence and ISUN, and complete bath and body luxury collections are available for purchase so you can pamper yourself in the comfort of your home.
