DINE Fort Lauderdale at Arc Culinary, March 24, 2022. Tango Treviso Burrata Cheese, Crushed Green Apple, and Lemon Basil Vin paired with Manzanos’ Berceo Crianza. Photography by Arce Photography.
DINE Fort Lauderdale ends on May 25 with a fusion experience featuring six wine-paired courses, one each from all the chefs and restaurants that have participated and paired with a Manzanos wine, as well as a silent auction to benefit the Emeril Lagasse Foundation, which is partnered with local organizations such as Arc Broward.

The Chef: David DeLeon
The Kitchen: Arc Culinary
Background: Previous stops include The Breakers, the Signature Grand and the T-Mobile Center arena in Kansas City, where he was an executive chef. David knows how to lead a kitchen that turns out high-quality food for lots of people.

The Chef: Austin Blake
The Kitchen: No Man’s Land
Background: The South Florida native’s previous stops include Miami event and catering group Lasso the Moon, much-missed Fort Lauderdale spot One Door East and the Dalmar, where he opened Sparrow Rooftop Lounge. Last year, Memphis Garrett made him executive chef of Garrett Hospitality Group, which includes No Man’s Land.

The Chef: Marc Gruverman
The Kitchen: Capital Grille
Background: Gruverman has been with the Capital Grille for nearly two decades, today overseeing everything that goes on in the busy Galleria location. If you want to know about, let’s say, the dry-aging process, Marc’s your man.

The Chef: Alexis Morgan
The Kitchen: Eddie V’s Prime Seafood
Background: After spending a decade with the Village Tavern group, Morgan went to Eddie V’s in 2020 and quickly rose to executive chef. As such, he leads the kitchen of one of the hottest restaurants in Fort Lauderdale, one of the places that’s bringing high-end dining to the main section of downtown.

The Chefs: James Cawley & Brian Cornelius
The Kitchen: The Grateful Palate CATERING & EVENTS/SHOOTERS WATERFRONT
Background: The catering and event spot alongside Shooters Waterfront is popular for everything from weddings to business events – and it’s the spot for DINE Fort Lauderdale’s fusion dinner. The kitchen team is led by the double C’s, Cawley and Cornelius, and they specialize in quality, distinctively Floridian flavors for big groups.
