1. VARIOmobil – Perfect 1200 Platinum
You’ve got high standards? VARIOmobil will surpass that and beyond. For more than 30 years, the Germany-based company has been family-owned and operated. The passion behind each motorhome shows through its quality and engineering. They are completely hands-on when building your dream vehicle, from the working materials used to the technology to the innovative solutions. They pride themselves in long-lasting craftsmanship and precision, which is why they use top quality suppliers.
As far as exterior goes, the 26-40-foot vehicle features a powerful chassis from Mercedes-Benz, MAN and Volvo. The XXL version comes equipped with a car garage (that fits a Porsche 911).
The three-axle motorhome also has a new front, three times extendable living area cores, luxurious black countersunk real glass windows and a multifunctional car platform with integrated Velo-Slide for e-bikes and charging station. Lastly, the heated exterior walls make winter nights more bearable too!
The individual interior floor planning comes however you like. For example, the handmade interior in “bentART” design includes a combination of satin-white with American walnut fine wood veneer – talk about class! Even the lighting system is state-of-the-art, like using a microprocessor-controlled PLATINUM lighting system with memory illumination scene and various dimming functions to ensure an ideal calming atmosphere. In addition, LED spots emit soft light in the recessed handles of the doors and pull-outs.
As mentioned above, VARIOmobil prides themselves in helping customers design their motorhomes 100% from start to finish. This means you have total freedom and control in design, materials and equipment. This includes the process of lock smithery, form construction, paint shop, carpentry and final assembly. After all, they are your very own yachts on land, as they’re called!
2. Liberty Coach – Elegant Lady #878
Family-owned and operated for almost 50 years, Liberty Coach is a go-to for a lot of buyers. After all, they are responsible for several “firsts” in the industry: first Prevost coach conversion (built on a H3-45 chassis bus platform), first to use a generator auto start system, first to integrate programmable logic control and first to use a “green” battery system.
Liberty’s engineering and craftsmanship is also out of this world. For starters, they use Moritz Octoplex, which reduces weight by about 400 pounds and enables complete wireless coach control of the Crestron system. Their signature “ergodynamic” cockpit design increases comfort, minimizes driver fatigue and gives you more control of virtually every coach component and function via the dash-mounted iPad. They also incorporated the first and only solution in the industry to the EPA’s new emission standards – tier 4-certified energy system.
The Elegant Lady #878 was recently released as a 2022 model and includes a Sorrento SS Triple Slide Edition (“SS” stands for the Super Slide chassis that serves as the platform for the new Super Suite plan that was introduced last year).
They know RVs are an important investment, and just like any vehicle you drive, the exterior is something you want to show off. That’s why they tapped into custom design – not by just anybody – by legendary automotive artist Dean Loucks and his company The Art of Design.
The interior is just as important: the particular coach floor plan shown includes the Super Suite, which creates an enormous, ultra-luxury super suite in the rear bedroom. The size of the rear bedroom is unique for the RV industry. You’ll also find top appliances like Bosch and Miele.
We can’t forget to mention premium components like the latest in audio/video systems (KEF speakers), navigation software (CoPilot RV), and control technology (STRUT Launchport iPad chargers and lower bay e-center for outdoor entertainment). One of the many new features introduced with the Elegant Lady #878 is the exclusive hitch view camera and Prevost’s new Driver Assist Electronics Suite. It also includes their Blind Spot Detection System.
3. Marchi – EleMMent Palazzo
The Marchi EleMMent Palazzo – once you see it, you’ll never mistake it for another brand again. The unique and futuristic design was inspired by land, air and sea. It’s no wonder it’s recognized as one of the most luxurious RVs in over 190 countries.
Taking a note from the world of motor sports, the sports car design lines and 36-inch rim covers are reminiscent of race cars. In the cockpit, you’ll notice a central digital instrumentation and MMI control inspired by jet cockpits. Plus, the unmistakable panoramic windshield will remind you of a helicopter (it can be darkened in two stages). As far as the sea goes, the vehicle features integrated yacht windows throughout.
While you would expect the diesel motor, with a Volvo 6 cylinder in-line engine and a performance up to 600 hp, to roar – it remains silent like a motorhome should.
A huge feature is the sky lounge. Its automatic lift system raises it up out of the body to create a walled-in roof deck. Talk about traveling first class! It even has lounge furniture and radiant floor heating. Luxury continues inside. You’ll find a 13-foot couch steps away from a bar, a wine cabinet, ice maker and a large TV screen. The master bedroom features a king size bed, truly fit for a king (or queen) as it is manufactured by the same company that makes beds for the British royal family. There’s also a spa area that includes a rainfall shower.
