Where to Brunch for Mother’s Day

Moms love brunch almost as much as they love their children – treat them to one of these local spots offering brunch menus you can’t resist.

1. B Ocean Resort

Treat mom this Mother’s Day to a brunch she will never forget at B Ocean Resort located right on the white sands of Fort Lauderdale Beach. This Mother’s Day, B Ocean Resort’s signature restaurant The Naked Crab will be offering their Mother’s Day Menu from 12pm to 3pm.

The special brunch will include:

Charcuterie: Italian cold meats, prosciutto, speck, bresaola, golden manchego, murcia, camembert, assorted artisan breads and preserves.
Golden Beet and Pear Salad: Watercress, pistachio, strawberry condiment.
Burrata Caprice: Heirloom tomatoes, arugula.
Le Patisserie: Assortment of croissants, brioche, danishes, fruit preserves.
Breakfast: Seasonal fruits and berries, traditional benedict, applewood smoked bacon, sausage, hash browns.
Omelet Station: Regular and egg whites, sauteed mushrooms, tomato, spinach, peppers, onions, ham, bacon, smoked salmon, mozzarella, swiss and cheddar.

This special brunch menu is available for $65 per adult and $35 per child under 10. Guests can also enjoy Bottomless Mimosas with the B Bubbly Enhancement for 10. Reservations are recommended.


2. DUNE by Laurent Tourondel

Celebrate and pamper the special women in your life, oceanside, at one of South Florida’s most elegant and relaxing dining destinations, helmed by globally renowned Chef Laurent Tourondel.

Guests can enjoy a variety of delicious Mother’s Day specials in addition to DUNE by LT’s regular brunch and dinner offerings. Drink specials include a delicious and refreshing Rosemary Lemonade. A complimentary treat will be given out to all mothers to show how much they are treasured. A live musical performance by Will Bridges will take place during dinner from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m.

Brunch is from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. and Dinner 5:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Specials include:

Blue Fin Tuna Crudo: Seared foie gras and mango with yuzu miso dashi.
Spanish Omelette: Potato, caramelized onion, roasted bell pepper, chorizo aioli (Brunch Only)
Key West Shrimp Salad: Butter poached pink shrimp, avocado, ruby grapefruit emulsion, summer black truffle, Swank Farm’s wild arugula
U10 Diver Sea Scallops: Asparagus puree, white asparagus, snap pea, fava bean, crispy prosciutto, pickled ramps & lemon oil (Dinner Only)

3. Riva

Make mom’s special day memorable with Mother’s Day Brunch at Riva, offering seaside views and a relaxing atmosphere at Marriott Harbor Beach Resort on the Fort Lauderdale beachfront.

The decadent brunch buffet will feature timeless favorites with a twist, including:

Omelet station
Seafood bar: Offering snow crab claws, jumbo shrimp, and cold water oysters
Carving station: Offering Tangerine Glazed Ham and Beef Tenderloin with a roasted shallot demi glaze
Dessert bar

Highlighted dishes include chicken breast with smoked pepper romesco sauce, wild-caught Corvina with baby spinach and parmesan cream sauce, and au gratin potatoes.

Available from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Mother’s Day (Sunday, May 14), the brunch buffet is priced at $89 for adults and $39 for children ages 5-12, with non-alcoholic beverages included.

4. The Katherine

Join James Beard Semi Finalist Chef Timon Balloo at The Katherine and impress the mom in your life with brunch items like:

Hamachi Crudo: With radish, jalapeno and sesame ponzu
Heirloom Tomato and Burrata: With honey balsamic vinaigrette; Indian Style Charred Street Corn with curry aioli and masala powder
Thai Hot Fried Chicken: With house pickles and Pullman bread
Grilled Fish Sandwich: With coconut slaw

No brunch is complete without a beverage option. Along with local beers and a natural wine selection that includes skin contact bottles from Europe, new brunch cocktails include Tropical Fruit Sangria, White Cranberry Sour, Mojito and Negroni.

5. Timpano Las Olas

Treat the mom in your life to an experience at Timpano Las Olas. Tableside offerings like over-the-top Parm To Table Experience where made from scratch fettuccine is warmed up in a sizzling pan then tossed with pecorino romano and butter of parma in a parm wheel, then topped with fresh uni, and served on a Versace plate to the Smoked Bomboloni presentation, will be sure to impress.

In addition to a la carte specials, the special of the day is a Pan Roasted Sea Bass pickled ramps, forbidden rice, dates, toasted hazelnuts, preserved lemon velouté for $38 and wine pairing suggestion Pinot Noir from Ken Wright Cellars, Willamette Valley, Oregon for $20.
