Wine & DINE

  • December 29, 2021
  • FLMag Staff
Our DINE Fort Lauderdale partners are known for their top-quality food and wine, but these menu items set them apart from all others.

Manzanos Wines

1000 Biscayne Blvd., 60th Floor, Miami, 786.414.3369, manzanoswines.com
This Spanish wine brand combines the four elements to create their flavorful notes in each wine: earth, water, air and fire. The award-winning Los Hermanos Manzanos Reserva has six accolades over the course of the last five years – its staying power speaks for itself. The ripe aroma is made up of red fruit, prune, licorice, pastry and leather scents. The taste consists of silky and elegant with fruit in liqueur hints.

Shooters Waterfront/The Grateful Palate Catering & Events

3033 NE 32nd Ave., 954.566.2855, shooterswaterfront.com
The Fort Lauderdale icon serves up great food and great views along the dockside of the Intracoastal. They’ve got all kinds of seafood from sushi rolls to lobster rolls but you can get a little bit of everything with the Baked Seafood Pasta (rock shrimp, bay scallops, PEI mussels, jumbo lump crab, torchio pasta, champagne Alfredo sauce, parmesan cheese and toasted goat cheese breadcrumbs).

Eddie V’s

100 E Las Olas Blvd., 954.468.3583, eddiev.com
They’ve got live music and a relaxed environment so you can enjoy your dinner the right way. The prime seafood restaurant recently opened on Las Olas and offers much more. Among the many options, you have the Shellfish Tower and Chilean Sea Bass. However, the South African Lobster is the attention-grabber of the menu.

The Capital Grille

2430 E Sunrise Blvd., 954.446.2000, thecapitalgrille.com
The powerhouse restaurant is best known for their steak – so you know we have to highlight one of their best: the Porcini Rubbed Bone-In Ribeye with 15-Year Aged Balsamic (their signature steak prepared with delicate porcini mushroom crust).
