These Fort Lauderdale eateries offer the best of both worlds: water views and delicious food.

YOT Bar & Kitchen

2015 SW 20th St., 954.953.9000, yotlmc.com
Inside the Lauderdale Marine Center, the YOT Bar & Kitchen menu offers food choices for any time of day. Although the restaurant opens at 11am, the dock is open from 10am to 10pm. The website helps those traveling by sea by providing the restaurant’s coordinates.

Shooters Waterfront

3033 NE 32nd Ave., 954.566.2855, shooterswaterfront.com
Enjoy the dockside views as you indulge in the flavorfully Floridian menu. The restaurant has food for the whole family – right down to three options for dogs. Private dining at the spacious place is also a specialty if you’re hosting an event.

Boatyard

1555 SE 17th St., 954.525.7400, boatyard.restaurant
BOATYARD IS DEDICATED to living up to the philosophy of “Eat Local, Be Coastal.” They serve fresh catches daily and use ingredients from local sources. They can host your big party, too; the dockside patio offers seating for 80 guests and their private event space seats 200.

Quarterdeck

2933 E Las Olas Blvd., 954.525.2010, quarterdeckrestaurants.com
With five locations in South Florida, Quarterdeck is a local institution that’s never far away. They know their way around the surf and the turf – they say they’ve sold 1.5 million dolphin sandwiches and 1 million full rib dinners. The restaurant has deals for tacos on Tuesdays and wings on Wednesdays. Plus, the Las Olas location has ocean views for miles.

Coconuts

429 Seabreeze Blvd., 954.525.2421, coconutsfortlauderdale.com
The upscale waterfront restaurant allows you to dock your boat and bring in your dog on a leash. Outdoor paella is offered every Tuesday and Friday night. The restaurant also offers half price bottles of wine every Monday and Tuesday.
