Moksha Indian Brasserie
2823 Oakland Park Blvd., mokshaftl.com
Moksha bills itself as “Indian dining. Reimagined.” And this modern restaurant, while offering all the favorite traditional flavors, also goes in some unique directions. If you’re feeling adventurous (and hungry), try the Moksha Feast for a cross-menu sampling.
Bombay Café
3060 N Andrews Ave., bombay-café.com
This family-friendly place does a daily lunch buffet, plus dinner buffets on Wednesdays and Sundays, as well as a weekend brunch buffet. The menu’s a reasonably priced pan-Indian affair.
The Indian Harbor
1830 Cordova Rd., theindianharbor.com
The Indian Harbor’s menu is a tour through Indian culinary styles. There’s a good selection of vegan dishes – although meat eaters will find themselves well catered to as well. And save room for something off the excellent dessert menu, or at the very least, a refreshing lassi.
Bombay Darbar
1521 E Las Olas Blvd., bombaydarbar.com
Bombay Darbar’s a long‑established Miami Indian restaurant, and their newer Fort Lauderdale location brings elegant South Asian dining to Las Olas. Also check their lunch specials and a Monday-to-Friday happy hour featuring a selection of $5 appetizers and $6 cocktails, as well as beer and wine specials.
