1. 26 Degree Brewery & Kitchen Memorial Day Weekend Celebration
This weekend, the brewery will be serving its signature $5.26 Thirst Control Pilsner celebrating the recent addition of a full-service restaurant. On Saturday, patrons can enjoy beats and all time hits while they drink and eat courtesy of a live DJ who will be playing from 6pm to 9pm.
On Memorial Day from 12pm to 8pm, the brewery and kitchen invites the community to celebrate honoring our nation’s heroes. From 12pm to 3pm, guests can enjoy a friendly cornhole tournament with prizes, a live rock band from 3pm to 7pm, and the debut of the “Hero Plate” — featuring delicious BBQ bites perfectly paired with 26° ‘s handcrafted brews. At 3pm, the brewery will observe a moment of silence to honor fallen service members.

3. Great American Beach Party
Kick off the summer on Memorial Day weekend at the Great American Beach Party, a tradition in the City of Fort Lauderdale. Celebrate with family and friends as a portion of Fort Lauderdale’s world-famous beach transforms into an entertainment mecca on Saturday from 10am – 6pm at Las Olas Oceanside Park.
Highlights from this free, family-friendly event include live bands, water slides, a kids zone, a classic car show, an art show, a sand sculpting contest, a SOCOM Para-Commandos parachute jump, a military tribute, the Walk of Fame ceremony, vendors, exhibitors and so much more!
4. Memorial Day Ceremony
Join the city as we pay tribute to those who have made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our great nation in the United States Armed Forces. The ceremony begins at 9am on Monday at Lauderdale Memorial Park Cemetery. Music for the Memorial Day Ceremony will be performed by the Fort Lauderdale Symphonic Winds, featuring James Perkowski.
5. Memorial Day Parade & Ceremony 2025 at Pompano Beach
Honor. Remember. Reflect. Memorial Day is a time to come together as a community and pay tribute to our Nation’s Fallen Heroes. The City of Pompano Beach invites you to join them in honoring the brave veterans, military service members and their families who have sacrificed so much for our freedom.
The Parks & Recreation Department, in partnership with Public Works, will host a Memorial Day Parade & Ceremony on Monday beginning at 9:00 am at Wells Fargo to Pompano Beach Cemetery.
The parade will step off from Wells Fargo (2401 E. Atlantic Blvd) and proceed to the City of Pompano Beach Cemetery (400 SE 23rd Ave), where a meaningful ceremony will follow in remembrance of those who served.
