Our Fort Lauderdale forebears knew the value of living simply and creating something enjoyable out of not much. That is evidenced by Old Lauderdale Recipes, a book published by the Fort Lauderdale Historical Society that features recipes from Fort Lauderdale residents in the early-to-mid 20th century. In this time of trying to live more simply, we popped open the book to see what kind of cool, refreshing beverages those who came before us liked to enjoy.
