This healthy hot spot located in Oakland Park brings anything you need to satisfy a craving without breaking any diets. They offer acai bowls, salads, smoothies, paninis, oatmeal bowls, avocado toasts, pastries and coffee. Notable menu items include the Eggcetera Avocado Toast (toast, avocado spread, turkey, asiago cheese, poached eggs and paprika-infused olive oil) and the I’m Going Coco Coconut Bowl (raspberries, almonds, honey, white chocolate chunks, kiwis, Nutella and coconut flakes).

Get Fired Up

This chain serving American food and steakhouse options has opened a location in Dania Pointe. They serve everything from hand-cut, aged steaks to seafood to burgers and pasta. Popular items include the Durango Burger (chile-spiced pepper jack cheese, pickles, fried onions, roasted garlic ranch dressing and brioche bun) and the Firebirds Chicken Pasta (spicy Asiago cream sauce, applewood-smoked bacon, green onions, tomatoes). They’re now doing takeout.

Chef/owner Rino Cerbone opened Heritage FTL to share cooking styles from his childhood and recipes from his family. Some menu items worth trying are the Gnocchi Marsala (house-made gnocchi, wild mushrooms, peas and Marsala cream) and Squash Blossom + Cold Pulled Burrata (with hand-crushed tomatoes, olive oil and basil). The restaurant is currently open for takeout in the evenings.
